Partner FAQ
Will Proptiva take my clients?
No. You keep your relationship and any letting, sales or legal fees you already earn. We handle the ongoing care of the property, which most agents and lawyers would rather not do, and pay you for the introduction.
When and how am I paid?
After a referred owner’s first paid month (second paid month for ambassador rewards), your commission is added to a monthly statement and paid by the 10th of the following month. Naira is paid by bank transfer in Nigeria. Partners abroad can be paid in US dollars, pounds, Canadian dollars or euros.
What counts as our fees?
The amounts an owner pays Proptiva for its own services, such as HomeCare plans, rent or shortlet management, maintenance plans and project management. Money that passes through us to vendors, materials, government charges and taxes are not included.
Do I need to be a registered estate agent?
No. Anyone can be an ambassador. Professional partners should hold the registrations their profession normally requires, and we may ask for them during review.
What if two people refer the same owner?
The first referral we receive wins, and it stays yours for 90 days while the owner decides. If an owner signs up later, we look at the details and decide fairly, and our decision is final.
Is the commission taxable?
Yes, commission is income. For partners in Nigeria, withholding tax may be deducted where the law requires it, and your statement will show it.
How do I track my referrals?
Sign in to your partner dashboard with the email you applied with. You will see your link, every owner you referred and where they are, and your commission statement. Proptiva clients can also find their own referral link in the client portal.
Can the commission change?
We review the programme after its first three months. Any change applies only to owners referred after it, never to owners you have already introduced, and founding partners keep their founding rate.

Yes. Developers, banks, associations and churches can join as strategic partners with tailored terms, member offers and co-branded events. Choose Strategic partner on the form and our founder will contact you.
